The Firm
R. Thompson & Associates, LLC was founded in 2009 by Rick Thompson, former head of the Georgia State Ethics Commission, and a veteran regulator in the states of Georgia and Missouri for almost two decades. In 2012, Jason Boles, a 16-year veteran business consultant, life coach and globally experienced marketing expert joined the firm. Together they have assembled an unmatched team.
R. Thompson & Associates, LLC began as an ethics and governmental compliance consulting firm offering services to corporations, associations, committees, lobbyists, and candidates. Specializing in campaign finance, Federal Election Commission (FEC) and state ethics reporting, as well as lobbyist reporting, R. Thompson & Associates, LLC offers unrivaled knowledge, experience and consultation on the intricacies of navigating the rules and reporting requirements of regulatory agencies overseeing political disclosures. Ethics and governmental compliance is the firm’s cornerstone.
Beginning in 2012, R. Thompson & Associates expanded its services and resources. R. And, where many consultants stop, our team is just getting started. The work done once you are elected or appointed is as important as the work being done to get you there.

Jason D. Boles
Perhaps the most impactful attribute of Jason’s history is his entrepreneurial zeal. It’s an addiction that has built a diverse platform of knowledge and experiences. For more than 16-years Jason has been a business consultant primarily focused in advertising and marketing. Perhaps the uniqueness of his business model across the years speaks best to his qualifications: compensation based solely on the results driven.
From both sides of the table, the media’s and the business owner’s, Jason has developed strategies for image, for growth and for measured results around the globe. The insider’s advantage Jason possesses for marketing is built having consulted, managed and/or owned companies in broadcast, companies in publishing and companies developing social media and social marketing channels.
Across the past 6-years Jason diversified in to executive coaching and invested heavily into developing actionable plans for corporate executives as well as entrepreneurs. From the basics of setting a goal, to the complexities of developing an actionable plan, all with a measured accountability, Jason has thrived ‘behind the scenes’.
Outside RTA Jason and his wife, Carissa, lead a street ministry, Audacious Faith in Roswell, Georgia. Jason continues to diversify his interests via small business through a variety of partnerships and joint ventures. He is dad to Braedan and is a youth coach in the Roswell Recreational Department. Whilst Roswell is home, Jason served the past 12-years as a Trustee for his Alma matter Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.
